Latino Health Ministry

An exciting development in our program has been the implementation of the Congregational Health Promotion (CHP) program in the Latino population.   Our Latino Health Ministry Coordinator works with laypeople who want to promote health in their faith communities. These Faith Community Health Promoters are provided initial training and then ongoing educational sessions on key healthcare issues that impact the population –advocating for decreased disparities in minority healthcare while focused on wholistic quality of life.
